StormProxies sells a defined amount of proxy capacity without charging for each GB transferred. That is an attractive model for steady traffic, but the useful capacity depends on more than the package size: rotation intervals, authorized source IPs and target restrictions differ substantially between its services.
Provider Overview
StormProxies combines access to rotating pools with exclusively assigned datacenter lists. Its offer centers on ready-made subscriptions and member-area setup, including specialized packages for social platforms, ticketing and sneaker sites. Those labels sit across different networks: a ticketing order can mean rotating residential ports or a fixed private list.
The provider says it owns the server network used for its dedicated inventory. Its website terms select New York law for website-related claims.

Backconnect is the mixed datacenter/residential option. Ordinary plans share access to the rotating pool and include all 3 rotation modes. The per-request mode suits independent fetches, while timed modes give applications a period between scheduled address changes. StormProxies also describes weekly replenishment of the pool behind the gateways.
The subscription limits simultaneous threads across every authorized machine on the account. Access uses source-IP authorization. Depending on the package, between 1 and 5 origin IPs can be authorized, and that allowance does not rise consistently with thread capacity. A larger connection package therefore does not necessarily accommodate more deployment locations. Gateway groups cover USA, EU, USA+EU and Worldwide; the emphasis is broad regional access.
Residential Rotating Proxies
Residential is sold by gateway port and described as a purely residential network. Each port rotates its exit every 5 minutes, with a published allowance of 50 simultaneous threads. Increasing the port count provides more exit positions; it does not extend their rotation interval.
The main deployment constraint is authorization. Every package permits 1 source IP and excludes username/password access. Even a large port package still needs its traffic to arrive from that authorized origin. A central server with a stable outbound address is consequently a more natural fit than workers spread across independent networks.
Geography is selected as USA or EU. The fixed 5-minute turnover favors short tasks over activity that depends on retaining an IP for a lengthy session. Specialized sneaker and ticketing Residential offers retain that timer and the single-origin model. Their target labels do not change those operating conditions.
Private Dedicated Proxies
Private Dedicated provides exclusive use of fixed datacenter addresses in the USA. Both source-IP and username/password authentication are offered. This is the option for maintaining an assigned identity during use without scheduled gateway rotation.
Its most consequential maintenance condition concerns replacements. The Dedicated offer allows replacement requests up to 2 times monthly, provided no more than 20% of the assigned addresses have been banned. That is conditional list servicing, with limited protection against a workload that burns through much of its allocation. It should carry significant weight for applications that frequently encounter IP blocks.
The dedicated ticketing range uses fixed private addresses, unlike the rotating residential ticketing range. Social-platform packages also belong here. The general Dedicated signup warns that its proxies do not work for Supreme and sneaker sites and points customers toward the specialized offer.
Trial Terms
Testing requires a paid purchase. The money-back arrangement is limited to the first eligible entry package, and a customer who has received a refund cannot repeat the process as another refund-based trial.
Account Setup and Proxy Delivery
Proxy access is delivered through the member area after payment, with automatic activation advertised. Rotating customers receive gateway endpoints to use in their software; Dedicated customers receive the assigned proxy list.
Backconnect setup has a separate delay worth accounting for: its instructions allow approximately 15 minutes for an authorized-origin change to take effect. That matters when changing the machine or network connecting to the proxies, even if the subscription itself is already active.
Dashboard and API
The published member-area workflow covers source-IP authorization, selection of Backconnect gateway groups and rotation modes, and retrieval of endpoints. Subscriptions are denominated in USD, with monthly and 6-month commitments. They continue until cancelled. The cancellation policy explicitly covers PayPal subscriptions, alongside cancellation through the member area or support; timely cancellation is the customer's responsibility.
Upgrading is described as purchasing the larger package and contacting support about the earlier payment. Handling that earlier charge is part of the support process.
Refund Policy
The ordinary policy gives 24 hours after payment to request a refund on the first smallest eligible package. Larger packages and late requests are excluded. Requests go through email or support, and illegal activity can lead to termination without refund.
Residential and specialized offers need particular care: their guarantee wording names qualifying package sizes that do not consistently match the entry options on sale. The Sneaker page also advertises a shorter 2-hour window. A small order is therefore not automatically covered, and the general 24-hour promise should not be extended across all specialized plans.
Terms and Restrictions
The service rules prohibit resale of proxy access, hacking, torrents and illegal activity. Target restrictions are also part of the product choice: general Residential and Dedicated orders exclude search-engine scraping, as does the 400-thread Backconnect option. Unmetered traffic does not remove those restrictions.

StormProxies is consequently more convincing for an established workload than for a project that frequently changes its deployment, geography or session requirements.
