ProxyData.io is run by Alex, who has worked in the proxy industry for more than 14 years.
Most of that work has been practical: working with real proxy products, answering customer questions, helping with setup and access issues, dealing with authentication problems, and seeing where provider descriptions confuse buyers.
The project started as a private set of working notes. They were used to keep useful information in one place and make it easier to compare different services without rereading the same pages again and again.
Proxy services are often harder to compare than they should be. Providers use different names for similar products, describe terms in different ways, and often spread important details across several pages.
ProxyData.io exists to make this information easier to read, check, and compare.
The site is still being developed, with new pages and updates added as the database improves.
