SSLPrivateProxy Review

Founded in 2012, SSLPrivateProxy concentrates on datacenter proxies in North America and Europe. Alongside general Private and Shared packages, it sells configurations for social platforms, classified advertising, ticketing and shopping. These are variations within its Private service, with different allocation and preparation claims.

Support has a substantial role in the offer. Location preferences, custom packages and some application-specific orders go through staff. This suits arranging a particular allocation more than frequently changing geography during a running job. The contract specifies Delaware law and Wilmington, Delaware as the venue for disputes.

Subscriptions are based on address quantity and rental term, starting at a monthly commitment. Both services supply static datacenter IPv4 addresses with HTTP/HTTPS access and either username/password or source-IP authorization. Traffic is unmetered, and package specifications advertise 100 threads per proxy.

Coverage spans the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Netherlands and Spain. Standard location allocation is random; preferred locations can be requested through support, subject to fulfillment.

There are no test proxies before purchase. Trying the service requires a paid order. Refund eligibility depends on the activity, so the advertised money-back offer provides limited protection for testing target compatibility.

Activation is advertised within 1 hour, followed by email notification. The Client Area provides the assigned addresses, ports and locations as a downloadable list.

Ordinary refresh requires a request through My Proxies, with a fresh batch scheduled for the beginning of the next month. Ticketmaster has separate paid refresh terms. These conditions make refresh suitable for planned changes to an allocation. They offer much less help when a target blocks a substantial part of the list halfway through the month.

The Client Area brings together proxy lists, service due dates, billing and tickets. Subaccounts have separate permission choices for services, credentials, invoices, support and ordering.

An older official API guide documents list management, authentication changes and retrieval of a random proxy from the assigned list. Access uses a key issued by support. Its rotation example switches among addresses already purchased; it does not draw fresh exits from a wider pool.

Setup tutorials cover Proxifier, ProxyCap and BitBrowser, including HTTP/HTTPS authentication and browser-profile configuration. Product-specific FAQs explain allocation, specialized-package requirements, refresh and cancellation. The material is most useful as a manual for connecting and maintaining a fixed list; API coverage is narrower.

Payment options include verified PayPal accounts, credit and debit cards through WorldPay, and Bitcoin. Packages are denominated in USD, and subscriptions continue until cancelled.

Cancellation is handled per service in the Client Area. WorldPay's FuturePay agreement has a separate cancellation process in its shopper system. Stopping that agreement ends its recurring payments; it does not cancel the provider's order or arrange a refund.

Refund exclusions reach into several advertised uses: website account creation, including social accounts; Craigslist posting; scraping; manual or automated web submissions; and game bots. Buying an Instagram package, for example, does not make account creation eligible for a refund. Target preparation and purchase protection are separate promises here.

The deadline also differs between documents: 72 hours in the Terms and 7 days in the Refund Policy. Requests must be submitted through an account ticket, and policy violations can lead to refusal.

The Terms expressly prohibit commercial use and resale, despite the business tasks promoted in the catalog. This is a substantial obstacle to recommending the service for recurring commercial work. The advertised use cases do not settle which permission a business customer actually receives.

Other restrictions cover bypassing third-party protections and opening multiple customer accounts without written authorization. Mail access is limited to webmail, with mailing ports blocked by default. The AUP describes service-use, visited-site and payment records retained for approximately 60 days, potentially longer at the provider's discretion.

Support uses tickets and email, with 24/7 email coverage and live chat during a limited weekday window. Priority-based response targets include up to 4 business hours for high-priority requests. These are response targets, not repair deadlines. Remote Desktop assistance is offered when available.

SSLPrivateProxy also sells Private VPNs with dedicated addresses and Shared VPNs with shared addresses. Both advertise OpenVPN and PPTP support with unmetered traffic. They are intended for device-wide tunnelling and are managed through My VPNs, with customer-requested monthly refresh. The no-pre-sales-test rule and conditional refund policy apply to these purchases too.
