ProxyCompass Review

ProxyCompass has operated since 2013, is registered in Estonia, and was formerly known as FineProxy.de. Its current paid catalog contains four distinct products: Static Proxies, ISP Proxies, Rotating Proxies, and Dedicated Proxies.

The catalog is IPv4-only. Static Proxies and Dedicated Proxies use datacenter addresses, ISP Proxies provide static Spanish ISP addresses, and Rotating Proxies use a US datacenter pool. Regional packages, protocol pages, and use-case pages describe configurations or applications of these products rather than additional proxy networks.

ProxyCompass does not currently list a separate paid mobile proxy service, a global rotating residential network, or a paid IPv6 product. The ISP product is static and limited to Spain, so it should not be treated as a conventional worldwide residential proxy pool.

The website also contains free proxy directories, diagnostic tools, setup articles, and an affiliate program. These are useful additions but remain separate from the four paid proxy products.

All 4 services use 30-day terms and support HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5; SOCKS5 UDP is available through support. The 3 static products charge by IP, while Rotating Proxies use monthly request packages.

Static, ISP and Dedicated include unlimited traffic, with concurrent connections limited by package size. Packages below 1,000 IPs, including the 200-IP and 500-IP options, allow 1,500 connections; a 1,000-IP package allows 3,000. Larger plans have their own limits rather than a fixed connections-per-IP multiplier. These limits do not apply to Rotating Proxies.

The 3 static services share an IP-bound setup: authorize a source IP or use credentials with that binding. Each package includes 1 source-IP binding, and support can add 2 more free, for 3 total. Their lists can be replaced from the dashboard once every 8 days.

Static Proxies have a fixed test of 50 IPs for 1 hour; Rotating Proxies provide 10,000 requests from the US pool for 24 hours. ISP and Dedicated trials can be requested through support, with allowance, duration and availability assigned individually.

The free test requires a real, verified email address; disposable addresses are rejected. No payment or card is required, and access is stated to become available within about 5 minutes of registration and activation. Fixed-duration tests end without a paid renewal obligation. Buyers evaluating ISP or Dedicated should obtain their individual test terms before scheduling the evaluation.

Registration requires a verified email address and basic contact information. ProxyCompass states that most packages are activated within five to ten minutes after the required source IP is configured.

Static Proxies, ISP Proxies, and Dedicated Proxies share a list-oriented delivery process. The customer sets a Binding IP, manages credentials, and downloads the allocation in TXT or CSV format. The panel can also generate a custom list or return an individual random proxy.

Rotating Proxies use a separate product panel. It shows the remaining request allowance, gateway credentials, sticky-session connection details, and active session controls. This difference matters for automation: the static products deliver lists, while the rotating product uses gateway credentials and session settings.

The client area covers active services, invoices, account credit, saved payment methods, tickets, and profile settings. Customers can renew, change, or cancel packages. A cancellation credits the eligible unused service amount to the account balance, which can later be used to buy another package.

Static list-retrieval URLs are documented for the three static products. The URLs return complete proxy lists or individual addresses. They use package credentials or an authorized source IP. Rotating Proxies use credentials and session controls. A full account-management API for ordering and billing is not publicly documented.

ProxyCompass maintains a public Knowledge Base and FAQ covering activation, list downloads, browser and operating-system configuration, payment management, and explanations of proxy types. The Rotating product area also provides a separate sticky-session guide.

Setup material covers the main desktop and mobile operating systems, common browsers, proxy clients, browser extensions, download tools, messaging software, and several antidetect browsers. The site is available in English and multiple localized variants, so users can often find basic setup guidance without relying on ticket support.

Developer documentation is more limited. ProxyCompass does not publish a dedicated general API reference, a broad code-example library, video tutorials, or a unified documentation changelog. Endpoint examples are distributed across individual articles and product pages rather than organized as one developer portal.

ProxyCompass uses US dollars and prepaid 30-day billing. Customers can pay with international or Russian bank cards, PayPal, cryptocurrency, the Faster Payments System (SBP), or bank transfer subject to a minimum threshold. Invoices can be paid manually, a saved card can renew monthly, and account credit can fund later purchases. Automatic card renewal is optional.

Minimum funding thresholds apply to balance deposits and bank transfers, so funding a small order may require a larger deposit. Deposits are non-refundable. The dashboard provides invoices, and businesses can request formatting required by their tax authority.

A money-back request must be made within 24 hours of the original purchase. For Rotating Proxies, no more than 10,000 requests may have been used. Customers cancel the package in the panel and submit the refund request through the ticket system.

After 24 hours, eligible unused service is returned as account credit for another package rather than cash. Self-service cancellation is limited to once every 3 days, and balance deposits remain non-refundable.

The Terms allow ProxyCompass to refuse customers who make more than 3 refund requests in a month. Severe or repeated rule violations can lead to termination without a refund; no formal refund-review deadline or fee schedule is published.

ProxyCompass publishes Terms of Service, a Privacy Policy, a disclaimer, and acceptable-use rules. Prohibited activities include spam, fraud, impersonation, malware, hacking, brute-force attacks, unlawful activity, harmful data collection, and excessive load or interference with the service. Resale or redistribution requires a separate agreement.

ProxyCompass may investigate abuse complaints, suspend access during a review, and charge an investigation fee in cases covered by its Terms. Severe or repeated violations may lead to termination without a refund.

The Privacy Policy states that personal data is retained only as long as needed for its stated purpose unless a longer period is legally required. ProxyCompass does not publish enough detail about proxy-traffic logging to establish a no-logs policy.

ProxyCompass does not publish a formal SLA or service-credit policy. The Terms also do not identify a specific governing-law jurisdiction or a formal dispute-resolution process.

ProxyCompass provides live chat for website visitors and an authenticated ticket system for customers. Support is advertised as available 24/7, including weekends and holidays.

Public guides cover routine setup, while tickets handle account-linked technical and billing cases. Support can assist with product selection, trial requests, initial configuration, list replacement, location changes, and troubleshooting. Requests for the two additional source-IP bindings or SOCKS5 UDP also use this channel.

ProxyCompass does not publish a first-response target, priority-support policy, dedicated-account-manager program, or public status page. Customers who need contractual response times or a defined escalation procedure should obtain written terms before purchase.

The website includes a public free proxy directory, location-filtered free lists, a bulk proxy checker, and an IP address detector. These are standalone web tools rather than additional paid proxy networks.

ProxyCompass also operates an affiliate program that pays a recurring commission on qualifying referred customers. Applications intended only to obtain a personal discount may be rejected. The affiliate dashboard and referral links are available through the client area.
