Proxy-Cheap Review

Proxy-Cheap is built around a self-service account rather than sales-led plans. Customers add funds, configure a product, choose available geography and other options, receive the proxy in the dashboard, and manage renewals or traffic from the same account. A documented API, renewal controls, invoices, automatic balance top-ups, browser extensions, and an extensive Help Center make the platform suitable for repeat purchases as well as small experiments.

The catalogue spans 12 distinct services, but the structure is more orderly than the count implies. Rotating Residential and Rotating Mobile are traffic-based pools. Static Mobile provides a dedicated modem whose exit address changes only when the customer requests it. Static IPv6 is sold in bundles. The remaining 6 services are static IPv4 variations based on network type and allocation.

For static IPv4, Basic means an address shared by up to 3 customers, paired with a 1 GB allowance and no paid speed or concurrency upgrades. Dedicated assigns the address to 1 customer and removes the fixed traffic allowance. Premium is also exclusive and adds Proxy-Cheap's promise that the IP has never previously been used. That last claim should be understood as the provider's product promise, not proof that the address will avoid blocks or perform better on a particular website.

The word “residential” also needs context. Static Residential IPv4 and IPv6 are ISP-class fixed addresses, while Rotating Residential is the device-based pool billed by traffic. Mobile is divided in the same practical way: a dedicated modem for controlled manual changes, or a pooled rotating service purchased by the gigabyte. Once those distinctions are clear, Proxy-Cheap becomes easier to compare with providers whose catalogues use simpler names.

Static IPv4 plans run from 1 to 12 months and are purchased by address and term. IPv6 is sold in fixed address bundles. Static Mobile terms vary by country, while rotating products use 1-time prepaid traffic valid for 120 days.

Proxy-Cheap does not offer free proxies or sample IPs. Its FAQ recommends buying the smallest available plan instead. This is practical for services that start with 1 IP or 1 GB, but it is still a paid compatibility check and does not guarantee that a particular website will accept the supplied address.

The home page and FAQ advertise a 7-day paid trial for Static Residential IPv4, and the home page also associates a 7-day trial with Datacenter IPv4. However, the current public setup exposes only terms from 1 to 12 months for all Basic, Dedicated, and Premium static IPv4 plans. Until a weekly option appears in the actual order flow, the advertised trial should not be treated as reliably orderable.

Registration is available through email and password, Google, or GitHub, with email verification included in account setup. Customers fund their balance and configure services through the order interface. Static products expose the location and plan options available for that product; rotating controls appear after purchase in the proxy manager.

Delivery is not uniformly instant. Proxy-Cheap describes Static Mobile as instant, while its general guidance allows up to 24 hours after payment for other proxy orders and says additional information may be requested. This distinction matters when an address is needed for a time-sensitive task.

Identity verification is selective rather than universal at registration. Published triggers include single or cumulative top-ups reaching verification thresholds, or a referral payout request. If required verification is not completed, buying, renewal, extension, and upgrades are frozen, although already active services remain usable.

The dashboard handles ordering, proxy lists, credentials, balance, invoices, renewals, and product controls. Depending on the service, customers can change protocol or authentication, manage IP allowlisting, rotate a static mobile exit address, generate rotating endpoints, and configure automatic renewal. Auto Top-Up can charge a saved card when the balance falls below a chosen threshold, but it does not automatically enable product renewal.

Proxy-Cheap also publishes a REST/JSON API for ordering and proxy management. Access uses credentials created in the account. This is more than a simple proxy-list download and gives repeat customers a documented way to automate routine account actions. The public documentation does not state a numerical rate limit, so high-volume account automation cannot be sized from the published reference alone.

The Help Center covers product setup, billing, troubleshooting, authentication, protocols, rotation, renewals, and use of the dashboard. It is detailed enough to answer many routine questions without opening a support conversation, and the separate API reference documents ordering and management calls.

Its weakness is consistency. Some articles use broad labels such as Mobile or Residential even though the catalogue contains several products with different behavior. Protocol and authentication tables also conflict with product pages and authenticated generator screens, particularly for IPv6, Rotating Residential, and Rotating Mobile. When sources disagree, the selector shown for the exact product in the current order or proxy-management screen is the more useful guide.

The account uses prepaid USD balance. Customers fund it and then purchase either time-limited static access or rotating traffic. Cards, bank or wire transfer, and cryptocurrency appear consistently in the official payment material. PayPal and Alipay are mentioned elsewhere, but the published lists do not fully agree, so their availability may depend on the checkout and customer region.

Invoices are provided for balance top-ups. Auto Top-Up can charge a saved card when the balance reaches a customer-defined threshold, with a minimum top-up requirement. Renewal remains a separate per-service setting; funding the balance does not by itself keep a proxy active.

An expired eligible static proxy may be renewed within 3 days for a surcharge per proxy. Availability is not guaranteed, and service may be suspended during the gap. Larger funding activity may also trigger the identity-verification rules described above.

Proxy-Cheap has a conditional refund process rather than a blanket money-back promise. Delivery failure can qualify for a full refund. For an initial bandwidth-limited order, no more than 20% of the original traffic may have been used. Add-on traffic is excluded from that calculation. An initial time-limited order can qualify while active if the request is made within 3 days. Auto-renewal requests have a shorter 24-hour deadline.

Refunds can be denied for policy violations or when the problem is attributed to a lack of technical knowledge. Processing may take up to 5 business days for cards and Alipay or up to 3 calendar days for cryptocurrency. The provider advises contacting support if funds have not arrived after 14 business days.

Unused account balance is governed separately. Funds added by card, Alipay, or cryptocurrency are refundable only when the account is closed permanently, and a customer required to pass identity verification cannot receive the balance refund while that requirement remains incomplete.

The Appropriate Use Policy prohibits spam, fraud, phishing, malware, hacking, DDoS activity, impersonation, copyright infringement, illegal content, and attempts to bypass blocked site or category restrictions. Enforcement can include service restriction, suspension, or termination and may remove refund eligibility.

Traffic and connection limits depend on the product and configuration. Rotating Residential is the only service with a documented public numeric allowance with a clear numeric limit: up to 100 concurrent connections and a stated maximum of 100 Mbps. Other services should not be assumed to share that allowance merely because they appear in the same account.

Proxy-Cheap should not be described as a no-logs provider. Its privacy policy says server IP logs are not linked to personally identifying information, while the usage policy allows traffic or access logs containing visited sites and payment-related data. No exact retention period is published for those records. The public service agreement also does not provide a contractual uptime percentage or service-credit schedule.

Support is available through the Help Center contact flow, email, and live chat. The company advertises 24/7 availability, but does not publish a contractual target for initial response or resolution time. The large Help Center and documented dashboard reduce the number of questions that require an agent, though inconsistencies in protocol and product guidance may still require confirmation.

Support also plays a direct role in refunds, delayed delivery, verification, and unclear product compatibility. Because an exact IP cannot be previewed or reserved and acceptance by a named website is not guaranteed, the support claim should not be mistaken for a promise that an unsuitable address will automatically qualify for replacement or refund.

Proxy-Cheap provides free browser tools for Chrome and Firefox, allowing users to manage proxy connections without configuring the browser manually. It also promotes white-label and reseller arrangements, a referral program, and enterprise sales for customers whose requirements do not fit the public order flow.
