MyPrivateProxy Review

MyPrivateProxy says it has operated since 2011, making it a long-standing name in a market that has since shifted heavily toward residential pools and usage-based pricing. The company has largely stayed with the older fixed-list model: customers buy a known quantity of static IPv4 addresses for a fixed subscription period and manage those addresses from an account area.

The narrow catalogue is not necessarily a weakness. It makes MyPrivateProxy easy to understand for buyers who already know they need static datacenter-style addresses. Private Proxies reserve an address for a single customer and cover 20 countries. Shared Proxies allow several customers to use the same US address. The provider also advertises packages selected for sneakers, ticketing, and similar tasks, but these are variants of Private Proxies rather than separate networks.

There is an important limit to that simplicity. A Private order may be fulfilled from a datacenter or ISP allocation according to the stated use case, but the checkout does not let the buyer choose or guarantee either pool type. MyPrivateProxy therefore should not be mistaken for a provider with a separately orderable static ISP product. It is also not a substitute for residential, mobile, or rotating access.

The account and help systems are more developed than the compact service range suggests. Address refresh, subaccounts, invoices, API-assisted list retrieval, setup guides, and public network status give the service a practical operating layer. The commercial terms are less polished: refunds are restrictive, published timing statements do not always agree, and no contractual uptime or support-response commitment is published.

Both products use a prepaid subscription and provide a static list rather than a gateway that selects a new address for every request. Minimum quantities differ, and country choice is available only for Private.

MyPrivateProxy does not provide a free trial. Instead, it offers a limited paid test through its refund policy. An initial purchase of MPP1, MPP5, MPP10, MPP20, MPP50, or MSP50 may qualify for a full refund if the customer cancels immediately and submits a support ticket within 72 hours.

This arrangement is narrower than a general 3-day guarantee. It applies only to the initial eligible order, not to every plan, and the customer must pay before testing. Larger Shared packages, larger Private packages, renewals, upgrades, custom orders, and use-case-specific Dedicated packages are outside the ordinary eligibility rules. Buyers should therefore view the smallest eligible plan as the available test route, not assume that any order can be reversed after 3 days.

Ordering is self-service. Registration asks for standard contact and billing information, after which the customer selects a plan, billing period, country where available, and intended use. City or regional preferences can be added to the order notes, but they are requests rather than guaranteed selectors.

After a payment is confirmed, the service is normally activated within seconds. The proxy list appears under My Proxies and is also included in the activation email. PayPal eCheck is a notable exception because confirmation may take 3–5 business days; that delay occurs before the usual rapid activation.

MyPrivateProxy may apply identity or payment verification selectively. Its KYC policy allows it to request identity documents, payment-card evidence, or other supporting material after an ordinary registration. This is not presented as a mandatory check for every customer, but it means access is not unconditionally anonymous or instant for every order.

The customer area is designed around managing a fixed list. Official guides describe viewing proxies and credentials, changing authorized IPs, refreshing an entire plan or selected addresses, scheduling monthly refresh, searching the list, downloading invoices, and creating subaccounts with separate permissions. These are worthwhile controls for teams and for customers maintaining larger static allocations.

The customer API covers a narrower but useful set of recurring tasks: retrieving proxy lists, refreshing a plan, and enabling or disabling automatic refresh. Detailed documentation is kept inside the customer area. The public overview does not show the authentication method, rate limits, response format, or a complete endpoint list, so it is not possible to evaluate the API as a fully documented management interface before becoming a customer.

MyPrivateProxy maintains a public knowledgebase split between account and billing help, pre-sale questions, and setup guides. The guides cover common browsers, desktop and mobile operating systems, proxy clients, and anti-detect browsers. Examples include Chrome, Firefox, FoxyProxy, Windows, Android, iOS, Proxifier, AdsPower, and GoLogin.

The material is strongest on routine setup and account operation. It explains where to find a proxy list, how authentication works, how to replace addresses, and how to manage invoices or subaccounts. API details are less accessible because the full reference requires a customer login. Some public pages also reflect an older product presentation, so the current store and specific account instructions are more dependable than broad marketing pages when they differ.

Prices and checkout are denominated in USD. Published payment options include PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Google Pay, and Apple Pay, with card and wallet transactions handled through Stripe. The service is prepaid and recurring rather than billed after usage.

Subscriptions renew for the same period as the original order unless cancelled. An invoice is generated 7 days before renewal, and account credit can be used for payment. Customers can view invoices in the account area and download them as PDF files. Failed payment can lead to suspension after more than 3 days and eventual termination after more than 2 months, at which point the previous addresses are not promised back.

The available terms are 1, 3, 6, and 12 months. Longer commitments reduce the price, but they also renew for the same duration, making the renewal setting important on multi-month orders.

Refunds are available only under a tightly defined money-back test. The customer must be making an initial eligible purchase, cancel the service immediately, and send a support ticket with the account username and reason within 72 hours. MyPrivateProxy does not offer partial or prorated refunds.

Renewals, custom or upgraded orders, larger packages, policy violations, accounts that have previously received a refund, and task-specific Dedicated orders are excluded. This matters because the plans marketed for particular websites may look safer to try, yet their task-specific status removes the ordinary refund route.

The published pages are not consistent about timing. The cancellation article refers to a refund within 24 hours, the refund policy says requests are processed within 2 business days and may take up to 7 days to appear, while the billing agreement allows 5 business days, a full billing cycle, or longer depending on the payment processor. The sensible expectation is that an eligible request will be reviewed promptly but the money may not return immediately.

The acceptable-use rules prohibit spam and bulk email, torrents, abusive use of SMTP, POP3, or IMAP, automated forum posting tools, illegal activity, and conduct that harms the network or other customers. Reselling access requires prior written permission. Although traffic has no fixed quota, MyPrivateProxy reserves the right to limit bandwidth or simultaneous connections when usage disrupts service.

Compatibility with a particular website or application is not generally guaranteed. The provider makes a narrower exception for packages explicitly labelled for a use case, but those packages are subject to the stricter refund treatment described above. This creates a tradeoff: provider-selected targeting may improve the fit for a named task, while the buyer accepts less room to reverse the purchase.

The service does not publish a contractual uptime commitment, service-credit schedule, or support-response target. Addresses are also released after termination and may later be assigned to another customer. Anyone whose workflow depends on a permanent allowlisted IP should keep the subscription current rather than assume that an expired address can be recovered.

Support is available through account tickets, email, a public contact form, and live chat. The site advertises 24/7/365 assistance and mentions phone support for high-value customers. A public network-status page provides a separate place to check reported service incidents.

The channel selection is adequate for a self-service proxy shop, but no numerical response-time commitment or escalation policy is published. Tickets are especially important because cancellations, refund requests, defective-IP reports, and some protocol requests depend on support rather than a simple dashboard switch.

The main website promotes dedicated packages for sneakers, PokemonGo, ticketing, and similar use cases. These are selected variants of Private Proxies, not additional proxy networks. They deserve attention mainly because their compatibility positioning and refund exclusions differ from an ordinary Private order.

MyPrivateProxy also runs an affiliate program with a recurring commission and a minimum payout threshold. It is free to join. A public network-status page is available as an operational resource rather than a paid product.

Older pages still mention a VPN, but the linked VPN route is unavailable and the current store does not list a VPN product. Residential, mobile, rotating residential, and separately selectable ISP proxies are likewise absent from the current catalogue.
