IPRoyal was founded in 2020 by Karolis Toleikis, who remains identified as CEO in the company's public material. The contractual operator is IPRoyal Services FZE LLC in the United Arab Emirates.

The proxy catalog is built around 3 allocation models. Residential and Rotating Mobile sell access to shared pools by traffic. Dedicated ISP and Dedicated Datacenter assign static addresses to a customer for a chosen term. Dedicated Mobile reserves a private mobile endpoint while allowing its carrier-facing exit IP to change. This is a meaningful product range rather than a collection of use-case pages under different names.

All 5 services use IPv4. IPRoyal separately rents IPv6 subnets, but does not present them as proxy access. The company also distinguishes dedicated allocation from a sticky shared session: a long residential session can temporarily retain an address, but it does not turn that address into a permanently assigned ISP proxy.

IPRoyal says its residential supply comes through opt-in partners and its Pawns.app network, with disclosure, compensation, and an exit mechanism for participants. This is a published sourcing policy rather than a verification of every address, but it gives the residential product a more detailed provenance statement than a generic ethical-sourcing label.

The 5 services use different billing and allocation models. Residential and Rotating Mobile charge for data and supply changing addresses from shared pools. ISP and Datacenter charge by static IP and term. Dedicated Mobile charges for a private endpoint connected through a mobile carrier.

The word unlimited needs qualification throughout this catalog. Residential advertises unlimited sessions while still charging for transferred GB. ISP and Datacenter include a pooled fair-use allowance of 100 GB per IP for each 30-day cycle, after which speeds can be reduced. Dedicated Mobile has a hard 30 GB daily stop. Rotating Mobile has no separate daily allowance, but access ends when its purchased traffic is exhausted or expires.

IPRoyal does not currently publish a standard free trial. A former Help Center article described small trials for eligible accounts, but that page is no longer available and the regular dashboard does not show a universal trial offer.

Testing therefore begins with a paid minimum. Residential starts at 1 GB, Rotating Mobile at 1 GB for 30 days, ISP at 1 IP for 1 day, and Dedicated Mobile at its country-specific 1-day rate. Datacenter has no 1-day plan and starts with 1 IP for 30 days. These remain normal purchases governed by the refund policy.

Registration uses email and password or Google sign-in, followed by email verification. Standard products are ordered through the dashboard and delivered as credentials, generated lists, or endpoint controls according to the service.

Verification is risk-based rather than universal at signup. IPRoyal can request phone or identity checks for unrestricted access, protected destinations, unusual activity, or features with additional requirements. Some requests therefore move from instant self-service into manual review even when the product itself appears in the public catalog.

Residential and Rotating Mobile are configured as pool access with targeting and session parameters. ISP and Datacenter arrive as assigned static lists. Dedicated Mobile provides a private endpoint plus manual, URL, or timed rotation controls depending on the plan.

IPRoyal has a strong management layer for a self-service proxy vendor. The dashboard handles purchases, account balance, proxy lists, credentials, allowlists, subscriptions, usage reports, invoices, and API tokens. Organizations add projects and Owner, Admin, Member, and Billing roles, while Residential sub-users divide credentials and traffic within the main account.

API coverage is useful but product-specific. Residential exposes Bearer-token endpoints for access settings and allowlists. ISP and Datacenter have reseller APIs for availability, orders, and proxy management. This is not 1 uniform API covering every service, payment, report, and rotation action.

Residential API access may require identity verification or a deposit threshold, and some availability functions require additional spending or administrative permission. The published references also do not establish a shared rate-limit or webhook model across all products. Even with those restrictions, IPRoyal provides substantially more automation than providers that expose only downloadable lists or gateway usernames.

IPRoyal maintains both technical documentation and a large Help Center. Product sections cover Residential, ISP, Datacenter, and Mobile connections, while separate guides explain rotation, authentication, sub-users, organizations, usage reports, billing, and common software setups. The material is detailed enough to support ordinary setup and API work without making support the only source of instructions.

Coverage is stronger than consistency. Live guides still describe Shared ISP and Shared Datacenter variants that are absent from the current storefront, the former trial article has been removed, Mobile bandwidth language conflicts with the current daily cap, and Datacenter speed differs between the product page and technical documentation. Current checkout and operational help articles should therefore take priority over older promotional wording.

Payment options include cards, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Alipay, and more than 25 cryptocurrencies, with availability varying by checkout and jurisdiction. A minimum account-balance deposit applies; direct product orders are handled separately. Balance deposits are marked as non-expiring, but withdrawing deposited funds can be restricted.

Split payment can combine account balance with an external method. Receipts are sent by email, invoices remain downloadable in the dashboard, and card or PayPal payments usually appear immediately. Cryptocurrency confirmation may take up to 2 hours.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless renewal is disabled for the order. Short 1-day plans may charge shortly before expiry, while longer period plans can renew up to 3 days early. Failed payments can be retried up to 3 times at intervals of at least 12 hours before the service ends. IPRoyal states that renewal price changes will be announced at least 5 days in advance.

IPRoyal's refunds are narrow exceptions rather than a general satisfaction guarantee. A service problem must be reported and remain unresolved within the initial 24 hours. Residential claims are limited to 100 MB of use, while ISP and Datacenter use a 500 MB ceiling. Cryptocurrency payments are not returned through the standard process.

Renewal and cancellation requests generally have a 72-hour window. Data plans require the newly added traffic to remain unused, while proxy-based plans allow no more than 500 MB. Manually renewed ISP, Mobile, or Datacenter orders use a 24-hour window and the same 500 MB ceiling.

Rotating Mobile is less clear. The general policy treats data plans as zero-use cases but elsewhere groups Mobile with the 500 MB proxy limit. The safe conclusion is that the window is short and use of the renewed allocation can remove eligibility; the exact threshold is not consistently stated. Deleted accounts also lose refund rights for unused value.

The Acceptable Use Policy prohibits unlawful activity, fraud, spam, unauthorized access, malware, harmful automation, and other abuse. IPRoyal can suspend an account for violations, elevated risk, or suspicious activity. Customers remain responsible for local law and the rules of sites they access.

Fair-use limits deserve more attention than the unrestricted wording on sales pages. ISP and Datacenter can be throttled after their pooled allowance, Dedicated Mobile stops at 30 GB per day, and access to protected targets or extra requirements can trigger additional review. These are operating conditions, not rare contractual footnotes.

IPRoyal publishes a status page for infrastructure components, but its terms do not provide a contractual uptime promise, service credits, or a universal performance guarantee. The privacy policy explains data handling and retention categories, while exact retention depends on the type and purpose of the record.

IPRoyal advertises 24/7 assistance through live chat and email. The Help Center and technical documentation answer many setup and account questions before a ticket is required. No contractual response or resolution deadline is published.

The public status page separates service components and reports incidents. This is useful for distinguishing a wider outage from an account-specific problem, although it does not replace an SLA or guarantee compensation for downtime.
